Ben and I recently watched a JL Jupiter video about a pretzel and breakfast joint in Linwood, NJ called Twist.
My wife had herself a girl’s weekend so I thought this was a perfect time for me and the boy to check out something new.
The sandwiches were really good and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this family friendly establishment.
The Bee Hive was another favorite last year when we visited the Finger Lakes area, my son insisted on going back.
We really liked the staff both nights and the place has a very relaxed atmosphere.
Also – there is a cool bar called the Niagara Bar and Grill. This is a small locals’ joint – people were very friendly (wish we had some more time to hang out there).
My family and I visited Patty’s Place several times last year and we made it a point to return thanks to their excellent homemade bread. The staff and customers are very nice and the downtown shops are fun to explore.

We returned to the Finger Lakes area and revisited a place we really enjoyed last year – Ray’s Restaurant. We actually went a few times during our stay and the family was not disappointed.
My family and a few friends decided to go to Ray’s Restaurant in #CanandaiguaNY. I happened to bring my camera with me and I turned a meal into a mini episode.
I do struggle with filming inside restaurants, but I gave it a shot.
The people at Ray’s were nice and if you are in the area, you should give it a shot!
