My family and I spent a week in the #fingerlakes region of New York and my son really wanted to do something with animals.
We found Lazy Acres #alpacafarm in #BloomfieldNY. The staff were very nice and provided a tour and information about how the #wool is processed.
The animals seemed very well taken care of and Ben had a nice time.
My friends and I did another weekend “Man Trip”, this time in Pond Eddy, NY. The house was very open and light, but unfortunately the weather prevented more adventurous outings, so we had to find other ways to entertain ourselves (beverages and BBQ).
We decided to spend President’s Day weekend at Skytop Lodge up in the Pocono Mountains. We opted to rent a house on the property so we can hang out with friends.
Like last time, we did some axe throwing and we also signed up for snow tubing.
This was our first time at Skytop in the winter season and the resort had a ton of activities for adults and children alike.
My friends and I spent a weekend in Wellsboro, PA to explore the Pine Creek Gorge also known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania.
In addition to hiking, we rented a house in Sabinsville, PA and enjoy an (unplanned) electronics-free weekend.
This month’s Bokksu is “Kansai Autumn” themed. Ben and Allison ripped through the snacks and offered their opinions. It was another matcha heavy box which yielded mixed results.
Note: Kansai is a region in the south of Honshu, Japan’s main island. In its center is the city of Kyoto, Japan’s capital from 794 to 1869.
We spent a long weekend in Wilton, CT and we managed to rent a really nice house.
