DJI Software Security Concerns

Drone and Action Camera maker DJI makes products camera and action enthusiasts love. I am one of those people, I have several DJI drones, gimbals, and I have a real love for their original DJI #osmopocket .

An attempt to update the pocket’s firmware and the MIMO phone app took me down a security rabbit hole.

Couple this experience with the book I am currently reading “This Is How They Tell Me the World Ends” by Nicole Perlroth and it has me questioning my next DJI purchase.

Water Fun at the Finger Lakes

We rented an evening boat at #senecalake for some stargazing (first time on the water at night). It was a nice time.

I also took out my GoPro for an afternoon of swimming at #canandaigualake.

I tossed in some lake facts to make the video more interesting for non-family members.

Poconos: Skytop: Archery Tag

My friends and I played a few rounds of archery tag at the Skytop Lodge in June.

You might be wondering what archery tag is? Basically dodgeball with “arrows” that are tipped with big cotton balls.

I filmed the games with a GoPro, which wasn’t the best quality, especially when I started cropping the action, but it is passable.

I did a supercut of all the best action and removed about 50 minutes of filler.

Plague Vlog: Too Much Gear

I have been buying camera and recording gear for years. I bought things, realized I didn’t like or need it, and then shoved it in a camera bag and forgot about it.

I started going through all of this stuff to take inventory and get ready to sell some of it… and turned it into a little vlog project.
