AnkerWork Support to the Rescue! (M650 Microphone Fix)

You know that sinking feeling when your tech suddenly quits on you? My AnkerWork M650 mic took a fall and got damaged, throwing a monkey wrench in my recording plans. But guess what? AnkerWork support swooped in like a team of tech superheroes!

From the first email, they were friendly, responsive, and laser-focused on solving the problem. No robotic script, just genuine care and expertise. They didn’t point fingers and offered a replacement receiver because they could not fix the pin.

Once I upgraded the firmware on the new receiver, everything worked great. But the real takeaway? AnkerWork knows how to take care of their people. They didn’t just fix my mic, they restored my faith in quality tech and stellar support. That’s something worth mic-dropping about!

So, if you’re looking for top-notch audio gear with support that rocks harder than AC/DC, look no further than AnkerWork! If you want more information, check out my other microphone reviews!

AnkerWork M650 – Better Audio Settings

I continue to play with the AnkerWork M650 wireless microphone system. In my previous video, I noticed there was some audio clipping happening and the camera was showing peaking regardless of how much I reduced gain on the receiver.

I tested dropping the audio levels on the actual camera with much better results.

I also tried different 3.5mm audio cables that reduce gain without changing settings.

AnkerWork M650 Wireless Microphone Review

I recently purchased the AnkerWork M650 wireless microphone kit (thanks to a big Prime Day discount). Out of the box, I was impressed with the mic design and the receiver’s menu system.

This is my third wireless mic solution, so I decided compare the M650 and:

The M650 did well and it highlights some issues with the other microphones that made me less inclined to use them.

Sony Camera Microphone Battle!

I recently purchased the Sony ECM-B10 to add to my collection of camera microphones.

How does the small and cheaper ECM-B10 microphone perform against the older, bigger, and more expensive ECM-B1M?

Honestly, I was a little surprised with the results. Check out the video and see for yourself.

Sony ECM-W2BT Microphone Review

I recently purchased the Sony ECM-W2BT wireless microphone system to increase the flexibility of my travel kit.

After noticing a hissing sound in other Sony “hot shoe” microphones, I tested this system to find the best combination of options.

Due to these tests, this video went long – here are links to the other microphones I reference in this review:

Sony ECM-B1M Shotgun Microphone Review

I recently purchased the Sony ECM-B1M digital shotgun microphone for the Alpha ecosystem.

The benefits of this microphone are:
1. The input is purely digital audio
2. The controls are physical on the microphone (so you don’t have to change settings in the menu).
3. The hot shoe connection eliminates the need for a 3.5MM wire.

Take a look at the video to listen to the different sound settings.

This video is NOT a promotion or ad. I was not paid for the video nor was I given a sample device to test (I paid for this out of my own pocket).
